Two new jobs!!

Well, yesterday I started up at my new job at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. I have to wear a red apron and serve chocolate, toffee, caramel, and marshmallows to customers as they come in. They have a GREAT location, right next to Belissios's, so all the tourists pass by. Most of the people I am working with are high school students, so I feel too old and overqualified, but they don't know that. So far I've tried fudge, many truffles, peanut butter cups, jelly sticks, chocolate covered potato chips (eew!), and avalanche bark, which was awesome. It's a mix of white chocolate and peanut butter and then there are rice krispies, mashmallows, nuts, and chocolate chips. Very yummy! I have a 30% discount there, so I'll be taking requests for Christmas presents in December. For mom, they have chocolate covered cherries, for Bridget they have tons of flavors of fudge, and for everyone else, I have no idea. But of course Mom and Bridget don't have to have those choices. they can have anything they want.

I also went in to the Suites to talk with the general manager and I'm going in tomorrow to fill out paperwork and then I work my first shift on Sunday. I'm hoping I will like that job because it pays more. I'm guessing I'll have to deal with a lot more angry or unsatisfied customers at the hotel. No one gets real mad with chocolate.

Neil is also working two jobs. He's not too happy with the mailroom job right now. Hopefully it will get better for him. If not, I'm sure that's the one he'll drop when he goes back to school. He's working over 70 hours this week. He came back at 4:15 this morning and so I was awake for an hour or so in the middle of the night.

In other news, Neil asked for a blender on Freecycle the other day and a lady wrote us back saying she had one she never used (like 3 times or so), so we are going to pick that up! Freecycle is awesome! We got a blender for free! He wanted to make healthy smoothies.

I'll also try and post my pictures of the sunflower wall hanging...my quilting job was awful, but that was my first one, so I can't expect much.
